Visit the charity's profileMacmillan Charity Raceday is a fundraising collaboration between York Racecourse and Macmillan Cancer Support. The day of professional racing and fundraising has been held annually since 1971, raising more than £8.5 million in total for Macmillan and other charitable causes. Last year the weekend raised an amazing £650,000 and this year we want to raise even more, with the aim of reaching £1million to mark the 50th Anniversary. All the money raised will be used to support the work of Macmillan in the Yorkshire region.
